Op VIA Arena zijn er nieuwe drivers geplaatst voor de AC97 en VT1616 codec van VIA met 3.80a als versienummer. Deze twee geluidscodecs zitten in de volgende southbridges verwerkt: VT82C686A, VT82C686B, VT8231, VT8233, VT8233A, VT8233B, VT8235, VT8237.
