Intel heeft voor zijn NUC-modellen in de 7ixDN-serie nieuwe firmware uitgebracht met 0050 als versienummer. Dit is voor de zevende generatie Core i3-, i5- en i7-processors in verschillende varianten, met behuizing en als losse moederborden. De lijst met aanpassingen voor de firmwares ziet er als volgt uit:
