Software-update: Calibre 2.74

Versie 2.74 van Calibre is uitgekomen. Calibre is een opensource- en crossplatform-e-bookbeheerprogramma. Het kan onder meer alle relevante informatie en kaftafbeeldingen opzoeken, en e-boeken converteren om ze geschikt te maken voor de diverse soorten e-readers. Verder kan het programma kranten, tijdschriften en nieuwsartikelen op basis van rss-feeds omzetten in e-bookformaat. Ook kunnen met Calibre boeken worden aangeschaft bij de bekende webwinkels. Het programma wordt actief ontwikkeld en meestal verschijnt er om de andere week op vrijdag een nieuwe versie. In deze uitgave zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen doorgevoerd:

• Amazon metadata download: Allow downloading from amazon.cn as well. To use go to Preferences->Metadata download and customize the amazon plugin to download from amazon.cn
• Edit Book: Allow disabling the 'Files already arranged into folders' message popup

• Edit Book: Fix selected text not being fully highlighted when using the solarized color schemes. Closes tickets: 1647448
• calibredb: Fix CSV output for the check_library command not being properly escaped
• Fix subsetting of fonts whose names start with 'and' not working

• DOCX Input: Fix images wider than 50% of the page width being incorrectly right aligned even when anchored to the center of the page. Closes tickets: 1646086

• Get Books: Update ebookpoint and legimi plugins for website changes
• EPUB3 metadata: Ensure updating metadata never produces empty dc:contributor elements. Closes tickets: 1644702
• DOCX Output: Fix an error when converting tables with spanning cells. Closes tickets: 1644912
• Nicer error message if the user tries to import data while the content server is running
