Versie 2.73 van Calibre is uitgekomen. Calibre is een opensource- en crossplatform-e-bookbeheerprogramma. Het kan onder meer alle relevante informatie en kaftafbeeldingen opzoeken, en e-boeken converteren om ze geschikt te maken voor de diverse soorten e-readers. Verder kan het programma kranten, tijdschriften en nieuwsartikelen op basis van rss-feeds omzetten in e-bookformaat. Ook kunnen met Calibre boeken worden aangeschaft bij de bekende webwinkels. Het programma wordt actief ontwikkeld en meestal verschijnt er om de andere week op vrijdag een nieuwe versie. In deze uitgave zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen doorgevoerd:

- Pressing the up arrow in an date edit with undefined value should jump to the current date rather than Feb 101.
- EPUB Input: When an invalid nav based ToC is used in an EPUB 3.0 document that also has a fallback NCX ToC, use the fallback ToC. Closes tickets: 1643247.
- Fix a regression that broke the icon theme creation tool in the previous release. Closes tickets: 1643228.
- Fix insert character dialog not reflowing characters on resize. Also only allow the search bar in the dialog to get input focus.
