Op de website van iRiver treffen we nieuwe firmware voor haar IFP-serie MP3-spelers aan. De release, die 1.16 is genummerd zou alle bugs die in versie 1.15 verschenen op moeten lossen. De taalwonders bij de marketingafdeling van het bedrijf maken er echter heel iets anders van:

1. 1,500 files and 500 subfolders
- You can create a maximum of 1500 files and 500 subfolders to a maximum depth of 8 folders.
2. Change playback mode at STOP
- If you press the MODE button while stopped, it no longer changes to the SFL (shuffle) mode.
After the upgrade, it will change to the playback mode you previously set in the Mode settings. (It will not play after you change the playback mode).
Fixed Bugs
1. Doesn't reboot when playing MP3 files with special characters that have accompanying lyrics data.
2. Doesn't reboot when you press the NAVI button at STOP mode while in the interval A -> B mode.[break]Download de nieuwe firmware hier.
