Versie 1.9 build 345 van FastPictureViewer is uitgekomen. Dit programma is bedoeld voor de digitale fotograaf en kan worden gebruikt om snel en eenvoudig grote hoeveelheden afbeeldingen te bekijken en te waarderen. Er zijn geen mogelijkheden om afbeeldingen te bewerken, maar het programma biedt wel ondersteuning voor het raw-formaat van meer dan 430 verschillende digitale camera's. Aparte downloads zijn beschikbaar voor 32bit- en 64bit-omgevingen, en het programma is gratis voor niet-commercieel gebruik. Sinds de build 340 zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen doorgevoerd:

- Fix to the Facebook upload plugin to accommodate the latest changes in Facebook permissions.
- FastPictureViewer Pro (licensed) now saves the Publishing, Deletion and B&W marks across sessions, which means you can use the X key to flag files for deletions, then quit the program. When you restart, the images you flagged will still be marked for deletion. This feature has virtually no impact on performance.

- Build 344 is a raw compatibility update (raw codecs refresh to v3.8.0.96).
