Synology heeft ook voor de hele oude nas-modellen, die nog draaien op Disk Station Manager versie 3.1, een update uitgebracht. Het gaat hier om de apparaten waarvan het modelnummer eindigt op een 7. In versie 3.1 build 1639 zijn diverse beveiligingsproblemen verholpen.

The reason is that the previous versions of DSM included the following known issue: if you try to run automatic update of DSM without a volume, your DiskStation may not function afterwards.
