Software-update: KillaFing 3.10

KillaFing is aangekomen bij versie 3.10. Het programma blokkeert pop-ups en cookies van websites en werkt alleen met Internet Explorer 5+. Hieronder staan de release notes:

01.12.2002 - v3.10 Beta

• Other: Modified the Interface's GUI for future expansion.
• Fixed: The auto-merge popups/cookies definitions at startup was horribly broken.
• Fixed: Updating the Cookie list didn't take affect until all
• IE/Explorer windows were closed.
• Fixed: Sometimes parts of the GUI flickered in Windows XP. This has been reduced.
• Other: If IE's Cookies directory isn't found, then cookie scanning is
• disabled internally.
• Other: Merge Definitions has been sped-up by at least 200%.
• Other: CookieViewer has been partly internally upgraded and now also adopts the Windows XP theme.
• Other: Force Cookie Scan should now be a bit smoother.
• Other: Slight internal improvement to Interface startup when auto-starting.
• Other: Hitting Escape now minimises the Interface window.
• Other: The CookieViewer's Extended Options viewmode is now persistant.
• Added: Extras to the About section. Added: More general error-checking.
• Other: A lot of internal modifications, including various optimisations.
• Other: Updated popup/cookie definitions and manual. The manual will be completed in the next version.

De link naar KillaFing die onder betrokken producten wordt genoemd geeft een 'Helaas kon Artemis helemaal niks vinden :'('-melding.

Overigens is KillaFing donation-ware en GEEN cardware zoals elders wordt gesuggereerd. Registreren biedt trouwens geen extra opties, maar ik betaal graag een paar dollar voor programma's die echt nuttig voor me zijn.

Dit hebben meer programma's de programmeur vindt het dan gewoon leuk om ansicht kaartjes te ontvangen uit de hele wereld. en heeft het programma niet voor commercieel doeleinden gemaakt.
