Cloud Media heeft kort geleden nieuwe firmware vrijgegeven voor de Popcorn Hour C-300. Deze zogenoemde Networked Media Tank kan audio en video van de optionele harde schijf afspelen, maar ook zonder schijf is het apparaat goed te gebruiken. Content kan dan vanaf een nas-systeem of computer worden gestreamd. Het bijwerken van de firmware kan door het zipbestand naar de root van een usb-geheugenstick uit te pakken en vervolgens vanuit het menu naar het bestand 'usbupdate.html' te browsen.
