AVG Technologies heeft een update voor versie 2014 van zijn beschermingsprogramma's uitgebracht. Dat is opmerkelijk, want een aankondiging voor 2014 heeft nooit op de website gestaan. De line-up bestaat onveranderd uit het gratis Anti-Virus Free en het betaalde Anti-Virus en Internet Security. Die laatste twee kosten 35 en 45 euro per jaar per pc, maar als er een licentie voor verschillende jaren en/of pc's wordt afgenomen, valt de prijs per stuk lager uit. De drie programma's onderling vergelijken kan op deze pagina. In versie 2014.4335 wordt beter uitgelegd wat het Product Improvement-programma inhoud en zijn er enkele problemen verholpen.
