Symantec heeft voor zijn Endpoint Encryption-producten de zesde maintenance pack uitgebracht, waarmee het versienummer op 8.2.1 MP6 komt te liggen. Endpoint Encryption bestaat uit twee smaken, die samen te gebruiken zijn: Full Disk en Removable Storage. De eerste richt zich op het versleutelen van interne harde schijven van een systeem; de tweede richt zich op het versleutelen van data die op een verwijderbaar opslagmedium staat, zoals een usb-drive of cd/dvd. - 2949413 - Resolved an issue that prevented a user from authenticating at SEE Full Disk pre-boot on HP Compaq Pro 6300 Microtower PC (with Intel Core i3) systems running in IDE mode.
- 2898352 - Resolved an issue so that the SEE Removable Storage Access Utility no longer gets deleted from the USB drive when the drive is connected to a system running SEE Removable Storage with the “Do not encrypt files” policy enabled for new files.
- 2902484 - Users no longer receive a blue screen error when they try to view the properties of an inserted SanDisk flash drive.
- 2918151 - Resolved an issue so that users can access the files copied onto a USB device when that device is re-inserted into a computer on which the Trend Micro antivirus software and SEE Removable Storage (with the Default Session Password policy enabled) are both installed.
- 3004207 - Resolved an issue so that files are not corrupted on a system running SEE Removable Storage and Microsoft System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection (previously Forefront Endpoint Protection) when a user performs On-Demand Decryption of files on an NTFS removable storage device.
- 3068952 - Resolved an issue with SEE Removable Storage running on Microsoft Windows 7 systems so that the View backups button is now enabled, allowing users to view the last backup available on a removable storage device.

- 2672303 - Symantec Drive Encryption no longer encrypts USB flash drives when SEE Removable Storage is installed.
- 2701174 - Resolved an issue so that SEE Removable Storage does not encrypt new files written to the system drive (C:) attached to an eSATA interface and no longer treats the system drive as an external removable drive.
