R2 Studios heeft kort achter elkaar twee nieuwe versies van Startup Delayer uitgebracht. Dit programma kan het startproces van Windows zo aanpassen dat de gebruiker sneller toegang tot de desktop krijgt. Een van de redenen dat Windows traag start, is dat er veel programma's en processen tegelijk worden gestart. Een deel daarvan kan best wat later worden gestart, zoals e-mailprogramma's en snelstarters voor bijvoorbeeld OpenOffice.org en Adobe Reader. Met Startup Delayer is het mogelijk om de volgorde van de te starten programma's aan te geven en er een wachttijd aan toe te kennen. Op die manier kan sneller toegang tot de desktop worden verkregen, terwijl minder belangrijke programma's op de achtergrond iets later alsnog worden geladen. De nieuwe versies brengen de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen:

- Updated the Localization tool with a complete interface redesign
- Added account login support to the Localization tool so that Localizers can upload and release language changes whenever required. Changes are picked up by Startup Delayer within a couple of days and automatically updated
- Updated Cesky and Polish languages
- Forced the Process chooser to only allow valid filenames and exlude arguments, quotes, etc
- Added the more information button back to the Notifier window so that it toggles between a thin bar
- Added more drag areas to the notifier
- Minor fixes
- Support late drive ready by checking if the file is valid just before it launched instead of when it's first loaded. This allows you to use a TrueCrypt drive with applications on it to launch at Startup after a delay
- Added an option to show a Message when all applications have been launched. The option can be found in the Options window under Startup Applications
- Added some missing strings for translations
- Displayed a Language Select screen for when Startup Delayer is first run
- Modified the design of the Launch Notifier window
- Allowed the notifier window to be moved in most areas
- Added support for startup to be aborted if Shift is held down on the keyboard before Startup Launcher loads
- Added a button to the Options window to reset the position of the Notifier
- Added a checkbox to the Options window to allow you to hide the System tray icon during the launching of Applications
- Added Progress bar to Notifier to show the progress of Startup items
- Fixed issue with that required you to click twice on a Notifier window button to activate it
- Fixed Skip button not showing in Launch Process window until after you pause/resume
- Minor fixes
