De 
Mozilla Foundation heeft dinsdag een update voor versie 17 van Thunderbird uitgebracht. Mozilla Thunderbird is een opensourceclient voor mail en nieuwsgroepen, met features als ondersteuning voor verschillende mail- en newsaccounts, een junkmailfilter, spellingscontrole en een aanpasbaar uiterlijk. Nieuw in versie 17 is dat de menuknop nu standaard zichtbaar is voor nieuwe gebruikers en onder windows worden de tabs nu in de titelbalk weergegeven. In deze update treffen we enkele beveiligingsupdates en bugfixes aan.
Fixed in version 17.0.2:
- Security fixes can be found here
- Pressing the 'x' button on Windows now closes only one window rather than the whole application (805185)
- An issue that caused occasional corruption in local folders after filtering is now fixed (815012)
- An issue that caused deletion of drafts saved in IMAP folders whilst in offline mode is now fixed (805626)
