Software-update: BurnAware 5.4

Versie 5.4 van het cd-, dvd- en blu-ray-brandprogramma BurnAware is uitgekomen. Dit programma is beschikbaar in een Free-versie en in betaalde Home- en Pro-edities, met prijzen van respectievelijk 30 en 40 dollar. Deze uitvoeringen hebben extra functionaliteit, zoals voor het kopiëren van schijfjes en het rippen van audio-cd's. De gratis versie heeft een AVG-toolbar in de installatie, maar deze is optioneel. Op deze pagina worden de verschillende edities tegen elkaar afgezet. Sinds versie 5.2 zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:

Changes in BurnAware version 5.4

• Disc burning SDK has been updated:
  • Optimized data buffering during the burning process.
  • Optimized data transfer during the burning process for modern recorders.
  • Resolved the BD-RE burning problems that can occur on some Pioneer drives.
  • Resolved the issue that might cause "Device is not ready" or "Device is busy" error.
  • Resolved the issue that might cause write error at the end of the burning process on DVD-R/RW discs.
• Added Norwegian translation.
• "Remember write speed" checkbox moved to the Options.
• Fixed the bug with UI under non-standard screen resoltion.
• Fixed the bug with changing of write speed value after burning of first copy.

• Added Indonesian translation.
• Added Option to specify number of copies.
• Translations have been updated.
• Installer has been updated.
• Fixed bug with stop while copying from disc to disc.
• Fixed random bug with opening tray after burn.
• Minor fixes and improvements have been applied.
