Verleden week is er een nieuwe versie van de Skype-client voor Android uitgekomen. Het versienummer is 2.8 build 907 en downloaden kan via de bekende Google Play. Nieuw in deze release is dat het programma sneller opstart en zelf aangeeft wanneer er een update beschikbaar is. Verder wordt er video op meer devices ondersteund en is de stabiliteit van de applicatie verbeterd. Het volledige changelog ziet er als volgt uit:
