Software-update: Maxthon 3.3.6.1000

Versie 3.3.6 van Maxthon is uitgekomen. Deze webbrowser maakt gebruik van de interne motor van Internet Explorer om webpagina's weer te geven, maar heeft een eigen interface met allerlei extra functionaliteit, waaronder mouse gestures en onlinebookmarks. In versie 3.0 is de IE-engine Trident nog steeds aanwezig, maar wordt standaard de WebKit-engine gebruikt. Deze wordt onder andere gebruikt door Apples Safari en Googles Chrome. Er kan eenvoudig tussen beide engines worden gewisseld. Nieuw in deze release is onder andere een vernieuwde side bar en er is ondersteuning toegevoegd voor do-not-track, webaudio en geolocatie. In het changelog zien we verder diverse andere kleine verbeteringen en bugfixes.

Ik vraag me af wanneer ze "check for updates" eens gaan fixen . Dat heeft bij mij dus echt nog nooit gewerkt. Allen tijdens de start-up.
