korp_hi wees ons op de nieuwe firmware voor de Linksys BEFSR11, BEFSR41 en BEFSRU31 routers. Het changelog zou, vanwege haar grootte, de layout in de weg zitten. Vandaar dat we alleen een link plaatsen.

This Router's AOL Parental Controls feature is available for AOL customers in the US only.[break]Wie de firmware wil hebben kan hier de firmware voor Windows krijgen. Volgends Linksys zou deze firmware voor 'andere' OS'en geschikt zijn.

Release Notes
----------------------

This firmware now supports customers using
AOL Cable, AOL DSL, BYOA cable/DSL.

For non-AOL customers, the router will continue
to function as normal. Please refer to ver.txt
text file for more information.

For AOL customers, you can configure the Router
to support Parental control by following the
instructions on Linksys website [url="http://support.linksys.com."]http://support.linksys.com.[/url]

Below is a list of enhancements made on the Router:

1. Added AOL Parental controls support
2. Added feature to disable Advanced functions,
(except MAC Cloning) when AOL Parental Controls is enabled.
3. Changed DNS Relay functionality.
4. Updated assignment of DNS IP address to the PC.
5. Changed UPnP link speed displayed in XP from 3.2M bps to 10M bps.
6. Removed SPI option in the Filter tab for stability.
7. Changed Keyword UPnP request to no longer be case sensitive.
8. Changed default setting for UPnP to Disable
9. Added 15 free UPnP Forwarding entries (Not shown in web user interface) for additional services used.
10. Added UPnP addPortMapping support.
11. Changed UPnP overall function for stability.
12. Changed FTP client connection for stability.
13. Changed Multiple Pass through function.

Er is overigens ook een nieuwe firmware voor de Befsr81 uitgebracht op 9 augustus.
belangrijke fix : filetransfer voor MSN gefixed en UPNP support.

Waarom die AOL gedoe juist genoemd wordt in de post snap ik ff niet, da's het minst belangrijkste voor ons hier in NL
