De vaste bezoekers van de Meuktracker zijn ongetwijfeld bekend met XnView, een gratis programma voor het bekijken en bewerken van afbeeldingen. Er zijn versies voor Windows, Linux en Mac OS X, maar die laatste twee zijn iets minder ver ontwikkeld. Pierre Gougelet is ook al een tijdje bezig met het ontwikkelen van XnViewMP, wat staat voor XnView Multi Platform. XnViewMP gebruikt dezelfde broncode voor Windows, Linux en Mac OS X. De versies zullen dan ook een nagenoeg gelijke functionaliteit en uiterlijk hebben. Zo zijn er onder andere ondersteuning voor unicode, afbeeldingen met full bit depth, een eenvoudigere manier voor vertalingen en een betere database. Vrijdag is er een nieuwe bètarelease verschenen, met versienummer 0.35. XnViewMP is alweer een tijdje niet in de Meuktracker voorbij gekomen dus we laten een wat langer changelog zien dan normaal.
