De ontwikkelaars bij Mozilla Labs hebben een nieuwe versie van Weave Sync uitgebracht, met ditmaal 1.2.1 als versienummer. Weave Sync is een plug-in voor de populaire browser Firefox, die door dezelfde organisatie wordt ontwikkeld. De plug-in maakt het mogelijk om de persoonlijke instellingen, zoals bookmarks, persona's en surfgeschiedenis in de cloud op te slaan. Zo kunnen de laptop, desktop en mobiele telefoon van een gebruiker overal over dezelfde informatie beschikken. De lijst met veranderingen sinds de vorige vermelding in de Meuktracker ziet er als volgt uit:

- Sync a capped number of form history items to avoid slowing/hanging Firefox
- Improvements to switch more quickly to more frequent syncs as additional clients are added
- On PCs and Macs, pull all data from the server in one pass, avoiding the impression of incomplete/incorrect sync
- Improve synced tabs interfaces and discoverability and sync more tabs
- Split "Start Over" into sync reset and change accounts (with warning prompt)
- Prevent old data from less-frequently used machines from replacing recent changes
- Update server storage to allow multiple client versions to share the same data version
- Make each data type have its own storage version to reduce the potential for server wipes on upgrade
- Multiple fixes to verify the encrypted data records have not been tampered with
- Avoid syncing when Firefox is starting (and loading tabs)
- Better inform users if the account needs to be set up
- Sync additional data: search-bar queries and bookmark folder descriptions
