Razer heeft voor zijn Mamba-muizen met 5600dpi nieuwe firmware uitgebracht met 1.13 als versienummer. Met deze update wordt een aantal bugs verholpen, zoals in de onderstaande lijst met veranderingen te zien is:

- Fixed MAC issues.
- Fixed compatibility issues.
- Fixed keystroke recognition during lift-off.
Updating the Firmware of the Razer Mamba requires that you have a second mouse connected to the system. During the update the Mamba is put into a mode that allows firmware to be written onto it. In this mode it is not able to control the windows cursor. Please connect a second mouse to the system before performing this update. After the update has completed, you can disconnect any other mouse, reconnect your Razer Mamba mouse and use as normal.
