De ontwikkelaars van Syabas Technology hebben dinsdag nieuwe firmware klaargezet voor de Popcorn Hour C-200. Deze zogenoemde Networked Media Tank kan audio en video vanaf de optionele harde schijf afspelen. Maar ook zonder harde schijf is het apparaat goed te gebruiken, want dan kan content vanaf een nas-systeem of een computer worden gestreamd. Het bijwerken van de firmware kan door het zipbestand uit te pakken naar de root van een usb-geheugenstick en vervolgens vanuit het menu naar het bestand 'usbupdate.html' te browsen. De NMT-apps met versienummer 02-01-100119-19-POP-408 zijn ongewijzigd. De lijst met veranderingen voor deze update ziet er als volgt uit:
