De ontwikkelaars van Scooter Software hebben een nieuwe versie van Beyond Compare met 3.1.8 build 11096 als de versieaanduiding uitgebracht. Met dit programma kan je bestanden tussen verschillende lokaties synchroniseren of deze bestanden tot in detail met elkaar vergelijken. Om het laatste goed uit te voeren kan je Beyond Compare uitbreiden met definities van de verschillende bestandsformaten. Folder Compare:
- Session Settings dialog now supports browsing to files on FTP sites.
- Fixed quick compare dialog opening the file view automatically even if files are identical.
- Fixed "Use System" selection coloring for Data, MP3 and Version compares.
- Fixed "Open With" toolbar menu items to only show on sides where content is local.
- Fixed encoding crash if a cancel or error occurs during load.
