Changes in 2.8 bèta:
- File manager
- New file manager based on ListView
- easier selection (optional row selection)
- sorting column and a/z order are remembered
- alternative Details and List browser style
- customizable icons for most common file types
- Can now open MBR, FAT and NTFS units as archive (experimental) through 7z backend, to display objects hidden by the system at any level (file browser is yet independent from system's file explorer API, but still rely on system's Find* API)
- (Windows) Faster file copy, copy in restartable mode (default off) can be set in Options > Settings
- Updated "Open with..." presets to scan files with new AVG9
- Extract, convert AND archive
- Convert archives, accepts both archives and non-archives, existing archives are extracted before compression stage
- used with "Add each object to a separate archive" option (defaults) it performs a mass conversion of listed archives to the desired format
- otherwise it consolidates multiple input archives in a new archive of the desired format, and can improve compression efficency due to extraction and recompression of existing archives
- Multiple jobs launched at once (form program's GUI) are now executed sequentially, parallel execution is available as option
- Extract to new folder option is now remembered
- Can set a default extraction path (from extraction form, quick path selection menu which is called from button on the left of the extraction path address)
- Extract button, within an archive, extracts selected object; if nothing is selected extracts all displayed objects (like WinRar/7-Zip).
- 98 file extensions supported (MBR, FAT, NTFS)
- Recompiled with Lazarus 0.9.28.2
- All translations updated
