Firmware-update: HTC Snap 2.03 WM6.5

HTC heeft voor zijn Snap-mobieltjes een nieuwe rom uitgegeven met 2.03 als het versienummer. Met deze update wordt Windows Mobile 6.5 meegeleverd. Op ons forum zijn al verschillende gebruikerservaringen met deze nieuwe rom na te lezen in het HTC Snap topic en daarnaast kun je natuurlijk terecht op het forum van XDA-Developers.com. De beknopte aankondiging van HTC ziet er als volgt uit:

ROM Upgrade (WM6.5) for HTC Snap

An updated ROM is now available for HTC Snap users to download. As always, HTC is committed to providing customers with the best possible mobile experience.

Improved Functions and Fixes:

• Operating System upgrade from Windows Mobile 6.1 to Windows Mobile 6.5.

Before you proceed, please confirm that this software upgrade is a newer version than what is currently installed on your device. If it is the same version and your device is operating normally, there is no need to reinstall the software.

Warning!

This is a generic software update. Any additional software or settings provided by your mobile operator or company will be lost. If you require this customization, please contact your supplier first before upgrading.

Please note that this upgrade will erase any data stored on the device. Once you proceed with the upgrade, the system can not be downgraded again.
