Woensdag is er weer een nieuwe versie van Sysinternals Suite uitgebracht. De Sysinternals Suite is een verzameling handige tools waarmee Windows-computers kunnen worden beheerd. De software is onder meer bruikbaar voor troubleshooting en voor het verzamelen van informatie. De verschillende tools zijn door Mark Russinovich en Bryce Cogswell geschreven, in eerste instantie voor Sysinternals, maar beide heren werken alweer een tijdje voor Microsoft. Voorbeelden van programma's die in het pakket zitten zijn Process Explorer, Bginfo, Contig en Diskmon. In totaal bevat de verzameling maar liefst 67 tools. Deze keer zijn de volgende drie programma's bijgewerkt:
Autoruns v9.53:
This update fixes a bug that could cause the file open and save dialogs to not work on 64-bit Windows.
ProcDump v1.3:
This fixes a bug that could result in Procdump reporting negative CPU usage.
Process Monitor v2.6:
Version 2.6 no longer requires the symbol engine to be configured on systems on which a trace is collected (only on the viewing system) and fixes a bug that could cause the desktop to stop updating when thread profiling is enabled on Windows 7.
