Sabayon Linux, genoemd naar het Italiaanse zabaglione-toetje, is een zeer uitgebreide Linux-distributie die afstamt van Gentoo Linux. Bij de installatie wordt gebruik gemaakt van gecompileerde pakketten, maar het is ook mogelijk om de Entropy Package Manager aan te slingeren om pakketten te installeren. Sabayon Linux is voorzien van recente versies van onder andere KDE, Gnome, Firefox, Openoffice en Compiz Fusion, maar ook niet-opensourceprogramma's zijn aanwezig, zoals ATI Radeon- en nVidia Geforce-drivers en een demo van World of Goo. Door de enorme verzameling applicaties die meegeleverd wordt heeft men er voor gekozen om Sabayon Linux in twee smaken uit te geven, eentje met KDE en de andere met GNOME.
