TotalIdea Software, bekend van onder andere Tweak-XP Pro en TweakVI, is onder de naam Tweak-7 bezig met de ontwikkeling van een soortgelijk programma voor Windows 7. Dit tweakprogramma kan zowel overweg met de 32bit- als de 64bit-uitvoering van Windows 7, vanaf release candidate build 7100 en hoger. Na installatie kan het programma maar twee weken worden gebruikt. Dat hoeft geen probleem te zijn, want er worden bijna dagelijks updates uitgebracht. Sinds de vorige release in de Meuktracker zijn er diverse nieuwe releases geweest en is de status van bèta 2 naar bèta 3 verhoogd. Hieronder zijn de veranderingen te vinden sinds build 535:

- The 'Create system state shortcuts' in the 'Desktop tweaks' feature was not working if shortcuts should be created for 'All users'
- Several changes in the 'File Wiper' feature which increases the speed of file wiping through a random executions option
- Some improvements in the 'Registry Defrag' feature
- Added a tweak to the 'Desktop tweaks' section allowing it to remove the 'Shortcut' text when creating shortcuts
Beta 2 Build 548:
- Once again some improvements of the System CleanUp feature; now scanning for some additional unneeded files
- Fixing a bug that caused Tweak-7 not to save application settings properly
- A few changes to the setup
Beta 2 Build 546:
- Tweak-7 needed some time to unload completely if closed - this has been fixed
- Fixing an issue caused by special date separator characters
- Fixing an issue that caused some drop down list box items to duplicate themselves in the 'Auto Shutdown' feature
- The 'System Cleanup' feature now also scans for Windows Defender Logfiles and several additional unneeded file types
- A few improvements and optimizations
Beta 2 Build 545:
- Fixing a date conversion issue on startup which appeared on systems with a specific (non western) system calendar setting

- Fixing a minor issue that caused the drive status not to refresh properly in the 'System CleanUp' feature
