TotalIdea Software, bekend van onder andere Tweak-XP Pro en TweakVI, is druk bezig met de ontwikkeling van Tweak-7. Dit tweakprogramma voor Windows 7 kan zowel overweg met de 32bit- als de 64bit-uitvoering van Windows 7 en ondersteunt op dit moment alleen de eerste release candidate, build 7100. Na installatie kan het programma maar twee weken worden gebruikt. Dat hoeft geen probleem te zijn, want er zullen regelmatig updates worden uitgebracht. Sinds de vorige release in de Meuktracker zijn er diverse nieuwe releases geweest, soms zelfs meerdere per dag. Hieronder zijn de veranderingen te vinden sinds build 505:

- Fixing the Memory optimizer, which was broken due to internal code changes

- Fixing a few issues in the 'Snapsshot' feature that made it impossible to import snapshots
- Fixing a problem related to a different system calendar format
- Fixing a GUI issue that prevented the feature sections to load properly if the Tweak-7 window was minimized and re-opened
- Fixing an issue in the 'Autostart Manager' feature that did not allow it to delete 'Dead Autostarts'
- Fixing a crash that occurred when opening the 'About' box

- Fixing a crash that occurred in the 'Windows Error Reporting' tweaks section if the Windows Error Reporting service was not existing on the target machine

- Fixing a crash in the 'System Restore Manager' on creating a new restore point without entering a name for the RP
- Various minor fixes in several feature sections
