Softland heeft kortgeleden versie 6.2 build 291 van novaPDF uitgebracht. Dit stukje software werkt als een printer onder Windows, maar in plaats van de uitvoer op papier te zetten, wordt er een pdf-document aangemaakt. Het is te vergelijken met doPDF, dat van dezelfde makers is, maar dan met uitgebreidere opties. Het programma is volledig functioneel en gratis te gebruiken, maar er wordt wel 'gemaakt met novaPDF' onderaan het bestand toegevoegd. Om van die regel af te komen kan gekozen worden uit drie verschillende versies, variërend in prijs van twintig tot vijftig dollar.
