Driver-update: Nvidia GeForce 182.05 bèta

Nvidia heeft nieuwe stuurprogramma's voor zijn GeForce-videokaarten beschikbaar gesteld. Het gaat dit keer om de bèta van versie 182.05, die vanaf deze pagina voor de 32bit- en 64-bit versies van Windows XP en Windows Vista te downloaden is. De 182.05-release is voorzien van de nodige prestatieverbeteringen. In onder meer F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin, Fallout 3 en Left 4 Dead weten GeForce-videokaarten een betere performance te halen. Verder zijn de GeForce-drivers voorzien van ondersteuning voor OpenGL 3.0. De release highlights van de nieuwe bèta zien er als volgt uit:

New in Release 182.05:

• Recommended for the best experience in F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.
• Boosts performance in numerous 3D applications. The following are some examples of improvements measured with Release 182.05 WHQL drivers vs. Release 181.22 WHQL drivers (results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings):
  • Up to 8% performance increase in Fallout 3 at high resolution and AA.
  • Up to 10% performance increase in F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.
  • Up to 9% performance increase in Half-Life 2 at high resolution with AA.
  • Up to 11% performance increase in Left 4 Dead at high resolution with AA.
  • Up to 10% performance increase in Race Driver: GRID at high resolution and AA.
• Includes full support for OpenGL 3.0 on GeForce 8-series, 9-series, and 200-series GPUs.
• Automatically installs the new PhysX System Software version 9.09.0203.
• Additional information on specific bug fixes can be found in the release documentation notes.
• Users without US English operating systems can select their language and download the International driver here.

unreal 3 draait als een zonnetje bij mij.

UT3 draait bij mij ook goed op 181.22. Met de beta die daarvoor zat (180.84?!) had ik ook veel crashes.

Iemand UT3 al geprobeerd? Met 181 drivers crasht die voortdurend dus zit nog op 180.46.

met driver 181.22

komt door de vsync, staat ALTIJD aan ook als je hem uit vinkt
op tweakguides staat wel een uitleg hoe je het uit kan zetten
moet je wel in je .ini file rommelen

LOL, nee deze is niet geschikt voor deze kaarten , vanaf 6 serie dacht ik.

Erg stabiele driver, ik draai op Windows 7 7000 build en heb tot vandaag vanaf release gedraaid op 177.23 omdat dat een hele stabiele driver is met een goede preformance/image quality ratio , deze hebben hetzelfe maar dan zoals het lijkt met betere Quality
