Wacom heeft een release candidate van zijn nieuwe drivers met de versieaanduiding 6.1.0-4 uitgebracht voor Mac OS X 10.4 en recenter. De stuurprogramma's ondersteunen verschillende Wacom-producten, waaronder de Intuos1, Intuos2, Intuos3, Graphire2, Cintiqpartner en Cintiq. De lijst met veranderingen vermeldt slechts een aantal kleine aanppssingen, zoals hieronder na te lezen is:

- For Cintiq 21UX, 20WSX and 12WX, the previous Pop-Up Menu was replaced by a Radial Menu (customers who previously used the Pop-Up Menu need to reset the Pop-Up Menu tab to default and relaunch the control panel for the Radial Menu controls to show up).
- Numerous smaller bug fixes and improvements were implemented.

- Cintiq ExpressKeys settings will be maintained when the monitor configuration changes.
- Some underlying changes for improved handling of defaults and preferences were implemented.
- A number of smaller issues were resolved as well.
