Op de website van Asus is enkele dagen geleden een nieuw bios verschenen voor de M2A-VM en M2A-VM HDMI-moederborden. Beide moederborden zijn opgebouwd rond een AMD 690G-chipset en bieden daarmee plaats voor een AMD Phenom-, Athlon- of Sempron-processor met een AM2(+)-voetje. Het versienummer is inmiddels aankomen bij 2101, die een bug verhelpt met de L2-cachedetectie zoals in de onderstaande lijst met veranderingen na te lezen is:
Version 2101:Version 2001:
- Fix AM2 6500+ Dual Core CPU's L2 cache information may be detected incorrectly.

- Fix the problem that "Usable Memory" is unable to be detected completely if using 4G memory and AMD triple CPU.

- fixed problem that when using some Sempron CPU,the system fail to boot.
- fixed problem that system fail to resume from S3 when using certain CPU.
