Epim heeft vandaag versie 2.71 van zijn 'personal information manager' Essentialpim uitgebracht. Met dit programma is het mogelijk om contacten en afspraken bij te houden. Alle data wordt door middel van een 128bit-aes-versleuteling opgeslagen. Het programma is in diverse talen te gebruiken, waaronder in het Nederlands. Essentialpim is beschikbaar in een standaard- en een pro-uitvoering. De eerste is gratis, maar slechts beperkt bruikbaar: zo kan er bijvoorbeeld niet met de pc worden gesynchroniseerd.
