Tyan heeft voor zijn moederborden van het type Thunder h1000E (S3970G2NR) een nieuw bios uitgebracht met 2.04 als het versienummer. Dit type moederbord is gebaseerd rond een Broadcom HT1000-chipset en biedt plaats aan twee AMD Opteron 2000-serie processors met Socket-1207-voetjes. De lijst met veranderingen ziet er als volgt uit:

- Fixed an issue where you could not properly install the SATA driver under Server 2008
- Fixed a HDD size display error during the summary screen if HDD is larger than 1TB in size
- Fixed an issue where you could not create a RAID 5 array*
- Updated bios boot order to make the Broadcom PXE Option ROM boot first if there were other onboard Option ROM’s present
- Force onboard SATA RAID to load Option ROM 2nd if bios detects RAID is enabled
- Updated the Hardware monitor layout and default settings
- Updated the Chassis Intrusion Detection functions
