Software-update: Floola 3.0

Dinsdag is versie 3.0 van Floola uitgebracht. Met dit gratis programma kunnen iPods en mobiele telefoons van Motorola met iTunes-ondersteuning worden beheerd. Het programma is beschikbaar voor Windows, Mac OS X en Linux en heeft ondersteuning voor alle functionaliteit uit iTunes, waaronder album art, podcasts en smart playlists. Een handige feature van Floola zelf is dat het niet hoeft te worden geïnstalleerd om zijn werk te kunnen doen. Naast diverse verbeteringen in de Linux-client en voor Last.fm, is de grootste verandering in deze release de ondersteuning voor foto's. Ik merk er niets van bij hun FAQ (of forum) en het artikel dateerd al van novermber vorig jaar. Volgens mij werkt het ondertussen wel al op de 6G Modellen, vele andere iTunes alternatieven zouden er ook al mee werken, morgen eens uitproberen en zal hier mijn bevinding posten (of het werkt voor 6G);

Iemand ervaringen onder Linux? Die artwork mixup heeft me al menig uurtje gekost, dus ik ben wat voorzichtig met nogmaals proberen. Maar behalve deze issue een heerlijk programma; snel en eenvoudig.
