Pavel Cvrcek heeft gisteren de eerste alpharelease van versie 1.48 van Mozbackup uitgebracht. Dit programma is bedoeld om een backup te maken van de profielen en de data in de programma's Firefox, Thunderbird, Seanonkey, Mozilla Suite en Netscape. Mozback biedt de mogelijkheid om e-mail, bookmarks, contactpersonen, opgeslagen wachtwoorden en andere instellingen veilig op te slaan. Nieuw in versie 1.48 is onder andere de ondersteuning voor Mozilla Sunbird, Flock, Spicebird en Netscape Navigator 9.0 en de mogelijkheid om automatisch een backup vanaf de command-line te starten.
