Software-update: RoboForm 6.9.6

Met RoboForm kan je webformulieren met één druk op een knop automatisch laten invullen en persoonlijke wachtwoorden beheren. De ingevulde data wordt veilig opgeslagen via een versleuteling met een AES-, Blowfish-, RC6- of 3-DES-algoritme dat eventueel meegenomen kan worden op een usb-stick voorzien van RoboForm2Go. Voor een overzicht van alle beschikbare functies van dit programma verwijzen we naar deze pagina. De ontwikkelaars hebben een nieuwe versie op de wereld gezet met 6.9.6 als het versienummer. De lijst met veranderingen sinds de vorige vermelding in de meuktracker ziet er als volgt uit:

Version 6.9.6:

• Fix a rare bug in caching of Identities that can affect filling from tab instances.
• Firefox: better event sequnces tha make RoboForm more responsive.
• Added option that changes delay of Matching Passcard mini-dialog popping up.
• Fix sizing of tooltips.
• Fix install problem on Windows 95.

Version 6.9.5:

• Bug fixes for ver 6.9.4.

Version 6.9.4:

• Show little lock on password-protected Passcards, Identities, Safenote icons in menus.
• Implement RoboForm - GoodSync integration:
  1. Command Sync RoboForm Data that calls GoodSync to sync RF data with backup/portable folder.
  2. When GoodSync finishes syncing, it calls RoboForm to re-read new passcards.
  3. If GoodSync is not installed, Sync RoboForm Data offers to install GoodSync.
• RF Pro can be activated at install time by command line argument "/act=orderid,FirstName LastName".
• Add form filling from Identities for Polish, Swedish, Norwegian and Traditional Chinese.
• Warn about Identity Custom Fields preventing Standard Fields from filling correctly.
• Fix several small Vista issues, mostly related to permissions and UAC.
• Allow backing up RoboForm data files to encrypted folders.

Version 6.9.3:

• New RoboForm2Go startup sequence that works better with Vista security.
• Allow installing Non-U3 RoboForm2Go on U3 drives, after warning.
• Implement AutoUpdate for RoboForm2Go, before it was only for RF Fixed.
• Make RoboForm2Go installer upgrade old RF Fixed too, if the old version is present.
• Implement Master Password Recovery option, for RoboForm Enterprise only.
• Fix remaining Vista RF data files protection issues.

Version 6.9.2:

• RoboForm2Go can now add Upper Toolbar to Firefox even if Adapter is not installed.
• Add import from Firefox Passwords to RoboForm Passcards.
• Fix conflict with Windows Live Toolbar.
• Add user-defined Domain Equivalence tab in Options.
• More fixes for Standard User on Vista.

Version 6.9.1:

• New Import and Export dialogs, with more options.
• Fixed install/startup of RoboForm2Go + U3 + Firefox.
• Fixed install of RoboForm2Go on Vista.
• Fixed determining of default browser on Vista.
• Fixed automatic installation of Adapter into Firefox 1.5.

Ik vind dit echt een megahandig progje. Je logt met één hoofdwachtwoord in en voila, met één klik log je in op je webmail, banking etc.

De inbegrepen wachtwoordgenerator is handig voor het maken van nieuwe veilige codes.

Hmm, dat onthouden van passwords is juist het eerste dat ik altijd uitzet bij deze tool.

Maar verder super handige tool, zeker als je grote webapplicaties met de hand moet testen.
