En voor mensen (zoals ik) die niet weten hoe je de firmware moet flashen hier een beschrijving van iemand. Na 5x proberen is het gelukt.
Here is how to flash the firmware of your Razer Copperhead.
Please Read This FAQ a Few Times To Ensure You Know What To Do.
Flashing your firmware will not void your warranty provided all procedures are followed strictly. So its all good!
1. Open the Synapse Configurator menu.
Click the CONFIG | SAVE / LOAD SETTINGS option.
2. Click on UPDATE FIRMWARE.
3. A window will appear, you then need to find the firmware. The firmware file is located in the same directory as your driver files. Select the firmware file and click ’Open’. For example, the filename could be ‘Copperhead_050809k.s19’. Your file may have a different name, but the same extension, i.e. ‘XXXXX.s19’
4. After you click ‘Open’, a window will appear.
Then follow its instructions which are also shown below
a. Disconnect your mouse from the USB port.
b. Locate the profile button on the bottom of the mouse.
c. Press and hold the button down. Without releasing it, plug the mouse into the USB port. (2 people may be useful here)
d. Once you have plugged in the mouse to your computer, release the Profile button.
Once this step is completed, your mouse will go into firmware updating mode. In this mode, the lights in your mouse will be de-activated.
WARNING! The mouse will be non-operational. To continue navigating in your Windows environment during the firmware updating process, use the keyboard or connect a second mouse to your computer.
5. If this is your first time updating the firmware on this USB port, another window will appear. Click on “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)” and click “Next>”.
6. The window will change to one with searching options. Tick the box next to this line: “Include this location in the search:”.Type in the location of your driver and click“Next>”.
7. The Software will now install with progress show in the window
8. It will then ask whether to continue as the software hasnt passed windows logo testing. Click continue anyway.
9. After the firmware is installed, click the “Finish” button.
10. Click “OK” on the Instructions window, as seen below.
The window will say what to do next as also shown below
a. Disconnect your mouse from the USB port.
b. Locate the profile button on the bottom of the mouse.
c. Press and hold the button down. Without releasing it, plug the mouse into the USB port. (2 people may be useful here)
d. Once you have plugged in the mouse to your computer, release the Profile button.
11. You will then see a progress window
WARNING! DO NOT DISCONNECT YOUR MOUSE OR SWITCH OFF YOUR COMPUTER. DOING SO MAY RESULT IN PERMANENT DAMAGE TO YOUR MOUSE!
12. When the firmware update has been successfully completed, you will see the window below. Disconnect the Razer Copperhead, and plug it back into the USB port. Click‘OK’ and restart the Synapse Configurator menu to continue using your mouse.
13. If the firmware update is unsuccessful, a window will appear explaining what happened

Sorry, Firmware Update Failed
Disconnect the mouse and plug it in again. Go to the Synapse Configurator menu and repeat the steps for firmware update. (start again)
