SolveigMM heeft onlangs versie 1.4 van AVI Trimmer uitgebracht. Met dit gratis programma kunnen gedeeltes snel en lossless uit avi-bestanden worden geknipt. Handig om bijvoorbeeld reclame uit tv-programma's te verwijderen, of een film in stukken te knippen. Op deze pagina wordt uitgelegd hoe je een filmpje kunt aanpassen om het vervolgens bijvoorbeeld op YouTube te plaatsen. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen zien:

- Problem with the installed DivX Demux (DivXMedia.ax) with AVI support fixed. Previous version sometimes could not open AVI file if DIVX codec pack was installed.
- Problem with the installed AviSplitter.ax (guliveriki project) fixed. Previous version returned "Input file has not been set properly or damaged (The parameter is incorrect. hr = 0x80070057)" error.
- Problem with error “The sample start time is after sample end time” fixed.
