Software-update: AnyDVD 6.1.3.2

SlySoft heeft versie 6.1.3.2 uitgebracht van AnyDVD, een programma waarmee on-the-fly de kopieer- en regiobeveiligingen van dvd's kan worden verwijderd. Ook is het mogelijk om geblokkeerde functies, zoals bijvoorbeeld de copyright- en FBI-waarschuwingen toch over te slaan. Verder kan ook de snelheid van de drive worden aangepast, om zodoende het lawaai wat wordt geproduceerd tijdens het afspelen terug te dringen. Afhankelijk van de ingevoerde registratiesleutel kan het programma overweg met een traditionele dvd-romdrive of de nieuwere hd-dvd- of blu-raydrive. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen zien:

Changes in version 6.1.3.2:

• New (DVD): Added support new versions for the "Protect DVD-Video" copy protection to the option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors" Examples: "Wer früher stirbt..." and "Perfume", both R2, German
• Note: With the help of AnyDVD, discs protected with "Protect DVD-Video" can now be played on Windows MCE 2005, with Windows Media player or Zoom Player. WITHOUT ANYDVD RUNNING, THESE DISCS CANNOT BE PLAYED! Shame on the makers of this really bad protection. They don't do their customers a favour, if they cannot watch the original disc! We really hope that they get these discs slapped in their faces by their (ex)customers.
• Fix (HD DVD): Discs with volume labels ending with a blank character could not be decrypted Example: "Nine Inch Nails Live: Beside You In Time", US
• Fix (HD DVD): Discs without iHD menus did not work Example: "Heart - Alive in Seattle" (US & Japan)
• Fix (Blu-ray): Files with non consecutive sections were not decrypted correctly. Example: Many Blu-ray discs like "Prestige" (US)
• Some minor fixes and improvements
• Updated languages

Jammer dat je er allleen (legaal) aan kunt komen als je een creditcard hebt.

Daarom wordt dit appje enorm veel gepirateerd.

Ik ken anders genoeg mensen die het gebruiken. Die betalen normaal gesproken zoals het hoort gewoon voor hun apps, maar hebben geen creditcard.

nee hoor, dat gebeurt gewoon omdat het niet gratis is.
Geld proberen te verdienen aan mensen die 'illegaal' kopieen maken is een beetje vergezocht naar mijn idee.....maar ze mogenhet proberen

Geef je potentiële klanten nog een reden om DVD's te kopiëren i.p.v. te kopen. Erg slim.

Wat Slysoft natuurlijk niet zegt is dat je AnyDVD ook prima kan gebruiken om van dit soort discs een mooie backup te maken.
