Met iBackup kan je op het Mac OS X-platform van bestanden, mappen en applicaties een backup maken. Ook is het mogelijk om je systeemvoorkeuren, zoals tijd-, dock-, firewall-, iChat- en iTunes-instellingen, mee te nemen in een backup. De gemaakte backup kan op elk gewenst moment terug gezet worden op het systeem. De ontwikkelaars hebben versie 5.2.2 op de wereld gezet met de volgende lijst van aanpassingen:
