Software-update: RoboForm 6.8.8

Met RoboForm kan je webformulieren met één druk op een knop automatisch laten invullen en persoonlijke wachtwoorden beheren. De ingevulde data wordt veilig opgeslagen via een versleuteling met een AES, Blowfish, RC6 of 3-DES algorithme die eventueel meegenomen kan worden op een usb-stick voorzien van RoboForm2Go. De ontwikkelaars hebben een nieuwe versie op de wereld gezet met 6.8.8 als het versienummer. De lijst met veranderingen sinds de vorige vermelding in de meuktracker ziet er als volgt uit:

Version 6.8.8:

• Install Firefox Adapter without calling up the browser.
• Fix crash on Vista caused by interaction of DEP and ATL.

Version 6.8.6:

• Make RoboForm work in Protected Mode of IE7 on Vista, many changes.
• New adapter attachment scheme for Firefox family of browsers. Now RoboForm2Go can attach to Firefox even if Adapter is not installed.
• Introduce Passcards that can click a link/button even if there is no forms.
• Improve AutoSubmit to handle sites where JS prefills the forms such as Amazon.com.
• Implement workaround for a bug in Windows Live (MSN) toolbar.
• Add (Clear History) command to the 'Search Files' window pull-down.
• Add Export to IE Favorites and Firefox bookmarks.
• Add Import of Search Engines to SearchCards from IE and Firefox.
• Support SeaMonkey 1.1 in Adapter.
• Add Enterprise Policies that allow System Administrators to customize and exclude RoboForm features and to force password policies such as minimal length, add Policy Editor to edit Enterprise Policies.
• Add Enterprise version of RoboForm that allows offline activation and Enterprise Policies.
• Add COM-based SDK to RoboForm that allows to program automatic execution of long navigation, form filling and submission sequences driven by data from a database.

Version 6.8.4:

• Bug fixes.

Version 6.8.3:

• Fix rare "Server Busy" msg boxes appearing when RF starts IE.

je hoeft toch alleen voor de pro versie te betalen?

Ja, maar in de gratis versie kan je maar 5 (meen ik) passcards gebruiken.

Weet iemand een gratis variant van dit programma?

saturnus is keepass (http://keepass.info/) geen idee?

Werkt onder Windows en is open-source (wat wil je nog meer?)

Vergeleken met RoboForm werkt dat programma (tot nu toe) behoorlijk wat slechter...

@saturnus: misschien is Comodo i-Vault een alternatief ? Ik heb het zelf nog niet getest maar het is gratis en ziet er goed uit.

Voor Firefox heb je een soortgelijke extensie.
Zoek maar op de Add-Ons site voor 'Form', de tweede die je krijgt is het geloof ik.
