Draytek heeft een nieuwe firmware klaar staan voor zijn Vigor 2700Ge en Vigor 2700e routers die geschikt zijn voor het doorgeven van ADSL2 en ADSL2+ verbindingen. Het versienummer is aangekomen bij 2.6.2 en voegt een aantal nieuwe functies toe zoals Wake on LAN en de mogelijkheid om je bandbreedte per sessie in te stellen. De meegeleverde lijst met veranderingen ziet er als volgt uit:

- Release new ADSL/2/2+ modem code 131701 for Annex A and 131812 for Annex B.
- Add switch settings for syslog message.
- Add authentication setting for Mail Alert.
- Added two Telnet commands "wan ppp_mru" and "wan ppp_ipcp_vso" to adjust the size of PPP LCP MRU and enable/disable PPP IPCP VSO (Vendor Specific Option).
- Correct daylight saving for "Vladivostok" setting.
- Correct an issue that wireless function can not be re-enabled.
- Correct an issue that Open Port function fails when WAN connection drops and reconnects again.
- Correct an issue that you can login to the Vigor via 2nd IP even though the "Allow management from the Internet" is disabled.
- Correct an issue that router cannot get a static WAN IP from Arrakis' (British Telcom) BBRAS via PPPoA protocol even they have choose a fixed IP to the PPPoA session of WAN port.
- Improve the Telnet commands "mngt noping" and "mngt defenseworm".
- Improve DDNS for ChangeIP DDNS provider.
- Improve NAT performance.
