De ontwikkelaars achter FreePOPs hebben enkele dagen geleden versie 0.0.99 uitgebracht van hun opensource, cross-platform programma wat het mogelijk maakt om e-mail van webgebaseerde emaildiensten, zoals Hotmail, MSN, Yahoo en GMail gewoon in je eigen emailprogramma te openen. Het programma maakt een lokale POP3-server aan die de web-mail doorsluist. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende bug fixes zien:
