ICQ heeft gisteren een nieuwe versie uitgebracht van zijn gelijknamige Instant Messaging-programma. Het versienummer is aanbeland bij 5.1 build 2573 en het programma kan vanaf hier worden gedownload. ICQ is een van de oudste Instant Messaging-programma's en is in staat om met tekst, beeld en geluid te communiceren met andere ICQ-gebruikers. Nieuw in deze release is onder andere de mogelijkheid om korte flashanimaties te versturen, kan bij het inloggen de status al worden bepaald en worden de avatar (devil genoemd in ICQ) en nickname nu bovenaan in de contactlist weer gegeven.
