Zojuist is er een nieuwe bèta-build van Central Brain Identifier versie 8.0 uitgekomen. Het volledige versienummer is op 8.0.0.4 build 0504 R4 uitgekomen en de download is hier te vinden. Het programma herkent meer dan zeventig modellen AMD-processors en geeft gedetailleerde informatie weer zoals de naam, revisie en voltage van de core, frequentie, rating, cache en PowerNow-technologie. Daarnaast is het ook in staat enkele tweaks uit te voeren ten aanzien van bijvoorbeeld de L1-cache, het Clock Control Register en de geheugen timings.
