Het programma iSquint kan op een eenvoudige wijze allerlei videomateriaal omzetten naar iPod-formaat op het Mac OS X-platform. Het heeft onder andere ondersteuning aan boord voor bestanden met een DivX, XviD, 3GP of WMV indeling. Voor een overzicht van alle mogelijkheden verwijzen we jullie door naar deze pagina. De ontwikkelaars hebben versie 1.3 op de wereld gezet met de volgende veranderingen:

- iSquint is now immune to the iPod 1.1 Firmware bug!

- Fixed some weird bitrate/fidelity issues with certain sound tracks.

- More Premature Completion fixes. Her old version lasted...why can't you?
- Cleaning up after a cancelled encode now works better.
- Slightly-updated build of ffmpeg. Fixes the following two problems:
- Certain .vob files weren't correctly recognized. Fixed.
- Old G3 computers incompatble with recent build process. Fixed.
- Premature Completion problem fixed. Don't be embarassed. It happens to lots of guys.
- The final muxer no longer causes inaccurate (or any) AppleScript errors.
- Japanese systems can now use the "Saving In" field without AppleScript errors.
- Portuguese language tweaks.
