Software-update: Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.2.3

Microsoft heeft een nieuwe update vrijgegeven van Office 2004 voor het Mac OS X-platform en hier 11.2.3 als het versienummer aan meegegeven. Deze update is in acht verschillende talen binnen te halen waaronder het Nederlands en het Engels. De volgende aankondiging is terug te vinden op de website van Microsoft:

Version 11.2.3:

After you install this update, you can use Mac OS X Sync Services and Spotlight searches to sync and find Entourage items, use smart cards with Entourage 2004, and enjoy improved overall security and stability when using Microsoft Word 2004, Excel 2004, PowerPoint 2004, and Entourage 2004. This update also includes all of the improvements released in all previous Office 2004 updates.

Version 11.2.1:

This update fixes a synchronization issue in versions of Microsoft Entourage that have been updated with Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Service Pack 2 (11.2.0). The issue might cause data loss when Entourage attempts to synchronize with an Exchange mailbox that was moved to a different server running Microsoft Exchange Server. This update also resolves issues with setting Exchange server permissions and printing calendars. We strongly recommend that all Entourage users who have installed Office 2004 Service Pack 2 (11.2.0) install this update.

Version 11.2.0 - Service Pack 2:

This service pack provides expanded support for mailboxes on servers running Microsoft Exchange Server, performance improvements, security enhancements, and increased stability for Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Entourage for Office 2004. This service pack also includes all of the improvements released in Office 2004 Service Pack 1 (11.1.0), Office 2004 11.1.1 Security Update, and international proofing tools updates.

ls grootste software leverancier voor het Mac platform zal de Intel versie niet al te lang op zich laten wachten vermoed ik.

Office 2004? Dat is op de pc toch nog helemaal niet uit? of is de nummering bij mac anders oid? Dat 2003 later uit kwam en ze het maar 2004 noemden oid..

Er is idd alleen een 2004 versie voor Mac

Voor de PPC Mac wel te verstaan. Op de Intel Mac is er nog helemaal geen MS Office (of in elk geval baggertraag vanwege CPU-emulatie)
