Software-update: Paparazzi! 0.4.2

Paparazzi! is een handig programmatje op het Mac OS X-platform, hiermee kan je namelijk een screenshot maken van een website. Ook delen die normaal buiten het browservenster vallen worden meegenomen op je screenshot. De ontwikkelaar heeft versie 0.4.2 vrijgegeven met de volgende aankondiging:

Paparazzi! 0.4.2 released. This update fixes an crash that could occur when a Safari bookmak item had no “title” element in the bookmarks file, allows capturing of pages with “bad” certificates, and displays bookmarks’ URLs when their menu items are hovered over.

Fixes:

• Fixed a crash that could occur if a Safari bookmark item had no title element.
• Removed the duplicate Info.plist file from the Resources subdirectory. Why was that in there?!

New Features:

• Paparazzi! now allows capturing of HTTPS sites with “bad” certificates. To do: let the user know that the site has a “bad” certificate, though this is probably unnecessary.
• Menu items for imported bookmarks now display their URLs as a tool tip when hovered over.

Meta:

• Fixed linebreak count after the 0.4.1 changelog in the changelog file on the disk image.

Klinkt handig, kent iemand een prog zoals Snagit maar dan voor Mac OS ? Dus meer uitgebreid dan standaard Apple + Schift +F4 ?

Bestaat hier ook een Windows variant van () ? Ik vind het namelijk een erg goed concept en het ziet er lekker simpel uit ook!
