Foobar2000 is een audiospeler met ondersteuning voor een groot aantal formaten, waaronder mp3, wav, aac, mpc en ogg. De functionaliteit van het programma is uit te breiden met behulp van plugins. Op het forum van Foobar is de eerste Release Candidate verschenen van de 0.9-bètaserie. Deze versie kan hier als installatieprogramma gedownload worden en wordt geleverd met de volgende release notes:
